THE SECRET PLACE.

(You Dwell In Safety and Security)

TO THE BIBLE Psalm 91:1-2 AMP

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!”

LET’S TALK

Never ask questions like, “Does God still care? Can I trust Him to take care of me? Is He close enough to protect me and keep me safe?” Emphatically yes! In truth, God doesn’t need to do anything anymore; He’s already done all that’s necessary for your safety and protection. The Bible says He has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). So, it’s those who aren’t in Christ that should be bothered with such questions.

Christ is your security, peace, safety and protection, and He’s your dwelling place. The opening verse is very clear on this. In the New Testament, Apostle Paul puts it this way: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Christ is that secret dwelling place where you live. Because you’re in Christ, you are and will always be safe.

Psalm 91: 9-11 says, “Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

As God’s child, you’ve got no reason to be afraid of terror. The Lord, the Most High, is your place! The Bible says, “You need not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day” (Psalm 91:5 GNB). You’re supernaturally protected, because you abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
