RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 26TH OCTOBER.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 26TH OCTOBER.
DON'T LISTEN TO SATAN'S LIES.
...He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44).
You should never expect the devil to tell the truth about anything. The Bible says he speaks lies, because it’s not in him to tell the truth. Imagine he tries to put the thought in your mind that you’re not really born again or that you can never be a serious Christian. That shouldn’t get your attention, because he’s told you a lie.
Recall what he did to Jesus: God had just spoken out of heaven to Jesus at His baptism saying, “...This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). Now, the voice was audible enough that Jesus and John the Baptist heard it; the angels and all demons heard it, yet Satan came to Him and said, “...If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread” (Matthew 4:3). Satan challenged what God said about Jesus in Matthew 3:17.
Something similar happened in the Book of Genesis. God had told Adam to tend and keep the Garden of Eden, but instructed that he could eat from any tree in the garden, except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. However, Satan deceived Eve and she ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He said to her, “...God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).
Satan knew what God had said to Adam, but challenged God’s instructions. That’s the way he is; he always talks against what God has said to you or about you. He could ask you, “If you’re truly saved, how come you don’t feel that way?” That’s him questioning what God said in Ephesians 2:8: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Your feeling wasn’t what got you saved. So, don’t listen to his lies.
Satan will always tell you that you’re not righteous; you’re not healed; you’re not a child of God; but don’t listen to his lies. Resist him with the Word, and he’ll flee.
CONFESSION
I’m not ignorant of the devices of the devil. I stand firm on God’s Word of righteousness, victory, and love today, and always, delighting myself in the Lord. Hallelujah.
Further Study:
Revelation 12:9-10 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 25TH OCTOBER.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 25TH OCTOBER.
FOCUS ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance (Luke 15:7).
Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself His partner in building and transforming lives around the world is what counts the most in life. God did the ultimate: He gave His Son to die to bring us to Himself; to win us to Himself. So everything in your life—your thoughts, ideas, the excellence in your life—should be about soul-winning.
Many are concerned about the lesser things of life; but you must focus on the Gospel. True fulfilment and satisfaction in life is only derived from living for the Lord, fulfilling His dream. Many get carried away by their needs or their personal dreams; that’s wrong. Take your eyes off yourself; pursue and fulfil God’s dream. Live your life as an ambassador and steward of the mysteries of Christ; that’s what your life is for.
He already said all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). In Matthew 6:25, 32, 33 He said, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Don’t major on the minors; fulfil God’s dream. Be passionate about soul-winning; commit your life and resources to it. As you saw in the preceding verses, God doesn’t want anything, including “your needs” (for you really don’t have any needs), to distract you from preaching the Gospel. That’s why He made all things yours and plugged you to an unending supply. So, focus on what really matters. Be a fervent, persistent and consistent soul winner.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I recognize myself as your partner in soul-winning, an ambassador of the Gospel and minister of reconciliation. I live to impact my world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, turning sinners from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. I thank you for your grace at work in me to fulfil this glorious ministry, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study:
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

WE REIGN AND RULE IN HIS NAME.

WE REIGN AND RULE IN HIS NAME.
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18-19).
In our opening scripture, Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” The word “power” here is the Greek “exousia”; it means authority. “All power,” not “some power,” has been given to Jesus, in heaven and in earth.
The Bible says in Colossians 2:15, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” When Jesus died, He didn’t ascend to heaven immediately; He had been made sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21), and had to go to hell on behalf of all men. When He got to hell, there was an actual combat between Jesus and the forces of darkness. The Bible says “...the hostile princes and rulers He shook off from Himself, and boldly displayed them as His conquests…” (Colossians 2:15 WNT).
In hell, Jesus invaded Satan’s domain, whipped him and all his demons, and came out triumphantly from the grave. When He came out, He said to His disciples, “All hail!” (Matthew 28:9). It was a shout of victory, because He’d conquered Satan for us and given us dominion over the powers of darkness. Now, it doesn’t matter whatever hierarchy of demons exist, we’re superior to them; they’re under our feet.
No wonder He says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). As we spread the message of Christ, taking the Gospel to the nations of the world, we ought to be conscious of our authority and dominion in Christ Jesus. We’re His ambassadors; we’re to keep reigning and ruling in His Name, making pupils of the nations, and filling the earth with the glory of His presence. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m born of God and therefore, I’ve overcome the world. My faith is producing results; I’m walking in victory and dominion over Satan and circumstances, for the greater One lives in me. Hallelujah!

CHART YOUR COURSE ARIGHT.

CHART YOUR COURSE ARIGHT.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be
thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23).
Every time you speak, you shape your life and future; you chart your course in life. You’re today the result of your mouth-work. Proverbs
18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...,” which means with your mouth, you can choose which would be your lot—death or life. So, you can see that you’re responsible for your life, because what you say is what you get.
The Lord Jesus said, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). Notice that He didn’t say, “By the words of your parents, friends, or teachers in school, thou shall be justified or condemned,” no; it’s going to be by the words that come out of your own mouth. So, it’s up to you to chart your course towards a greater and brighter future with your mouth. Don’t talk about the problems and difficulties that may be around you; declare your victories.
The Bible says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:35-37). You can never be disadvantaged. God already ordained your triumphant and victorious life; therefore, you must speak accordingly. The Bible says He has said, so that we might boldly affirm the same things (Hebrews 13:6).
2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” This should form the basis for your faith-filled confessions. Affirm that you have a great life. Acknowledge and declare that you’re excellent and full of glory, living the life of power, dominion, and righteousness. Keep speaking the right words and your life will blossom from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m excellent and full of glory; my path is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day! I’m living the life of dominion, power, and righteousness. I’m making progress with giant strides, by the power of the Spirit, and through the Word. I’m walking in increased grace, wisdom, and divine provisions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MOVE FROM BELIEVING TO FAITH.

MOVE FROM BELIEVING TO FAITH.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Some Christians find themselves having a conflict between what the Word says and their actual experience. For example, they’ve read and believed our opening verse, yet they’ve battled one ailment after the other and now they’re asking, “What am I supposed to do that I’m not doing?”
A dear lady asked me a similar question, drawing attention to 2 Corinthians 8:9 that says Jesus was made poor that we might be made rich. Then she asked, “If this is true, how come so many Christians are still poor?” She wanted to know what could be done to make that scripture real in their lives.
Here’s what you need to know: When you were born again, you were brought into a life of absolute prosperity, absolute health, strength and victory; it’s been done already. Whether or not you’re enjoying it is your responsibility. The Bible says, “...work out your own salvation...” (Philippians 2:12); meaning that you must live the Word of salvation. Act according to the Word. In Christianity, we do the Word; we’re Word practitioners. You must personalise the Word for yourself and act accordingly.
You’re the one to make the Word real in your life. You’re the one to subdue the circumstances around you. You’re the one to subdue the forces that come against you and the symptoms that try to attack you. You’re the one to use the Word to effect changes.
Things won’t change by themselves; they won’t change because you believe. Believing isn’t enough; to effect the change you need in any area of your life, you must go from believing to faith! You must fight the good fight of faith. The fight of faith is when you consciously live according to the Word of God, irrespective of the circumstances around you and what your senses tell you. It’s when you insist on the Word and hold on to it as the only reality.
Confession
I experience the reality of the Word of God as I meditate on, and live in, the Word! I’m making progress, and circumstances are subdued to conform to the reality of God’s Word for my good. The Word of God has the pre-eminence in my life, and it continually produces in me what it talks about, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BE ON THE OFFENSIVE AGAINST SATAN.

BE ON THE OFFENSIVE AGAINST SATAN.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
You don’t need to pray, “Oh Lord, make me strong; help me to overcome temptations; help me to stand against the devil.” Such a prayer is unnecessary, because He already told you what to do to stand: “Put on the whole armour of God....” With your armour on, you’ll be able to stand your ground and resist every onslaught from the enemy; you’ll not succumb to fear, irrespective of what happens around you.
However, if you don’t put on the armour, it doesn’t matter how intensely you pray; it’ll not work. The instruction is to put on “the whole armour of God,” not some of it. And notice also that it doesn’t say, “So that you may be able to stand against the power of the devil”; that’s because the devil isn’t a factor; he has no power. The new creation is superior to him. The reason you’re to put on the armour of God is for you to be able to stand against “the WILES of the devil,” not his power.
The underlined word is “methodeia” in Greek, from where the English got the word, “method.” It refers to the travesties, stratagems, schemes, and manipulations of the devil. When you’re kitted with the whole armour of God, you’ll have the ability to frustrate and nullify these stratagems and deceptive mechanisms of Satan.
There’re people who aren’t able to stand when troubles come; life becomes miserable for them. Don’t be that way. The Bible says having done all to stand, stand therefore (Ephesians 6:13-14); in other words, endure to the end. Don’t give in; don’t give up. Wear the devil out. He doesn’t have what it takes to withstand you; resist him and he’ll flee from you. How do you resist him? It’s with the spoken Word; that’s part of your armour; it’s called the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Use it and the rest of the armour to keep Satan where he belongs—under your feet!
Prayer
Dear Father, thank you for the instructions in your Word; they’re life to me. I’m fully kitted with the whole armour of God, steadfast, unwavering, firmly rooted, grounded, and unmovable in the face of staggering opposition or contrary circumstances. I render futile the wiles, tactics, manipulations, and strategies of the devil, with my shield of faith, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED.

ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED.
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:4-6).
God chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him in love, and predestined us to be accepted in His presence. It’s part of what His righteousness in our spirits has produced for us; we can boldly stand in the presence of God without guilt, inferiority or condemnation.
No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, how deep in the thraldom or valley of sin you’ve been, you’re accepted in Christ Jesus. You don’t have to run from God, because of your sins. Imagine His gracious invitation in Isaiah 1:18; He said, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” He’s not mad at you. Submit to His righteousness. Embrace His love. Trust Him with your life, and He’ll make your life glorious.
Now that you’re born again, you’re in Christ; He’s already accepted you; you’re in Him. You dwell in His presence. In His presence, you’re at liberty; you don’t have to be afraid; you’re free to express yourself and be yourself. You’re at liberty to function for Him and live for Him.
Some people are still living their lives in hope that God will accept them based on their good works. But that’s not going to work! The Bible says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Furthermore, Galatians 2:16 says, “...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified”; that means accepted and declared righteous before God!
You don’t have to feel insecure or uncertain about your standing with God. Be bold, confident, assured and glad that you belong to Him; that He brought you into oneness with Himself. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for choosing me before the foundation of the world that I should be holy, blameless and accepted in your presence, according to the good pleasure of your will. I function in the consciousness and boldness that I’m justified and have peace with you, enjoying an indissoluble oneness with you, to the praise and glory of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study:
1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Psalm 4:3-5 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

YOU MUST BELONG IN A LOCAL CHURCH

YOU MUST BELONG IN A LOCAL CHURCH
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1 Timothy 4:1).
Sometimes, you ask some Christians which church they attend and they say, “I don’t belong to any church. I fellowship wherever I want to; wherever the Spirit leads me.” That’s sad. It’s a show of spiritual immaturity and instability to have such a mind-set. Any Christian who says he or she doesn’t believe in being a member of a local church, is in error, and under the spell of Satan.
We’re clearly admonished in the Scriptures not to forsake the gathering of the saints; our church meetings: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25). These are the last days, and our opening verse says men shall give heed to “seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”
Some people think “seducing spirits” are spirits that seduce men and women in lustful desire, but “seducing spirits,” according to the Scriptures, are spirits that try to lure people out of the Gospel; they lure people away from the truth of the Word. These spirits are working in many people today who go about deceiving others, telling them they don’t have to be members of a local church to serve God. Some have even written books inspired by Satan to convince Christians not to belong in any church, or to lure them from the church into another gospel.
Therefore, beware of them; be wise. Even in regions where there’s hostility against the message of the Gospel, Christians still find time and opportunity to meet. The Church is the ground and pillar of truth; it’s the place where you’re taught the truth—God’s Word that puts you over in life.
Personal Bible study and prayer are very healthy and must be embraced by all Christians, but it must not take the place of corporate worship—the assembly of ourselves together. You have to be in the house of God so you can hear the Word, grow spiritually, and participate effectively in the work and ministry of the Church.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to fellowship with you and with other believers, and the grace to be vitally involved and committed in spiritual activities organized in the local assembly. I’m blessed to partake of that corporate unction that transforms my life, and makes me more effective in the work of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Further Study:
Acts 9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Acts 2:41-47 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN YOUR SPIRIT.

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN YOUR SPIRIT.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Righteousness is a gift from God; you don’t qualify for it. When you were born again, you were born righteous, with the nature of God—the nature of righteousness.
Religion teaches that if a man would live right, then God would qualify him to be a righteous person, but that’s not true. It’s a contradiction. No one can live righteously, until He’s first made righteous by God. God’s righteousness in your spirit is what gives you the ability to live right.
That is why in Christianity, what God does is to first make you righteous, before He’d be justified to expect you to live right. The Bible says Jesus Christ died on account of our offences, and was raised back to life for our justification (Romans 4:25). Justification means to declare righteous. When a man receives Christ, he receives a new life, and is as one who has never existed before: a new creation in Christ.
This new life isn’t characterized by sin. This new life is superior to sin, the devil, death and hell. This new life is the life of righteousness; now you can live a righteous life. The reason men sin is because they’re sinners by nature. That nature is supplanted by God’s nature of righteousness when a man is born again. Because you’re born again, sin no longer has dominion over you; it becomes natural for you to live right and fulfil the will of the Father, for His righteousness is in your spirit.
Confession
I’m crucified with Christ; it’s no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. His righteousness in my spirit is expressed on the outside; it’s natural for me to live right and fulfil the will of the Father, because of His righteousness in my spirit.

LIVE FOR HIS GLORY.

LIVE FOR HIS GLORY.
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:15).
If you truly believe that Jesus died to save you, then you must continually live for His glory and lead others to salvation. We’re in the last days, and the time is short. There’s no room for complacency; you must become vocal with the Gospel now more than ever. Yes, there may be peculiar times, occasions, and places where we might need to be tactful in our preaching of the Gospel; nonetheless, we should never lose our confidence in Christ and the boldness to publicly proclaim His Lordship.
We’re His co-labourers and partners, working together with Him to reach the lost and bring salvation in Christ to every man. This is our primary responsibility as Christians. The Apostles lived for this cause. Many have suffered severe persecutions and even lost their lives for preaching the Gospel. It isn't, and shouldn’t, be different in our day. Stick your neck out for the Gospel. Don’t be afraid or intimidated to stand up and speak up for what you believe.
In your workplace, school, business environment, estate, neighbourhood, be known as an ambassador of Christ; a burning and a shining light. Even when you’re reviled or disdained for preaching the Gospel, keep at it, because your adversaries don’t count; they’re not a factor. Nothing, and no one, can hurt or harm you, because Christ is your life; He’s your defence. He sent you, and will therefore see to it that you triumph gloriously always—over and above every adversity.
Devote your life to reaching others with the Gospel. Keep influencing and impacting your world positively through the power of God that works in you. Keep beautifying the lives of those around you with the Word and power of the Holy Spirit. That’s how to live for the Lord and have His glory revealed in and through you.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the opportunity and ability to influence those in my world with the Gospel. Everything I am and everything I have is for the expansion of your Kingdom. I thank you for your blessings and extraordinary provisions in my life, and for the strength, boldness and courage you’ve granted me to proclaim the Gospel with power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Acts 18:9-11 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. 11 And he continued [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

SET YOUR FAITH ON COURSE.

SET YOUR FAITH ON COURSE.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
God loves you and cares about you, regardless of the challenges and difficulties you may be facing right now. He always wants to see you win and live happy every day. Jesus said, “...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Never allow anything get you frustrated; train your faith. Tell yourself, “Against hope, I believe in hope that all things are working together for my good” (Romans 8:28).
The triumphant life is yours in Christ Jesus; refuse to settle for less. Things might not exactly be going as you’ve expected, but maintain your confession of the Word. Don’t accept defeat and don’t give in to sickness or anything that hurts. Don’t say, “I’ve been infected,” just because you noticed some symptoms in your body. Faith doesn’t consider the symptoms or circumstances. Faith considers the Word.
Symptoms or the doctor’s diagnosis shouldn’t change your confession. Keep the Word in your mouth. It doesn’t matter how you feel or the figures in your bank statement; it doesn’t change who you are. Refuse to be rated by your circumstances. The things you see with your physical eyes are subject to change. Therefore, set your faith on course. Your faith is your currency; and with it, nothing shall be impossible to you.
Every adversity you face is your opportunity to experience and manifest the glory of God: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). No matter what you go through in life, it’ll turn out for your good, as long as you turn your eyes away from the conditions or circumstances, to the Word. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith....”
He perfects your faith; therefore, never give up. Don’t say, “The trouble was too much, and so I gave up”; no, take on the shield of faith. With your faith, you can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Your faith is a shield; use it.
Confession
Blessed be God, who gives me the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and has made me more than a conqueror. I live triumphantly today, and always, fulfilling God’s dream and bringing glory to His Name. Hallelujah!

THINK DIFFERENTLY.

THINK DIFFERENTLY.
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35).
It’s the ninth month of the year 2016—our “Year of Spreading.” Perhaps, you might have been troubled and saying in your heart, “Lord, I still have goals and things I want to do. I want to receive more money for this, and for that; now the year is almost coming to an end.” Don’t think that way with God. Stay in eternity. Live in eternity. Think differently. Don’t “push” God like natural men do. Live with Him in His realm of life. Don’t get under the pressure.
When you get under pressure because of what you want to accomplish within a certain time, you become a slave to time. Don’t let that happen to you. Time should be a slave to you. Psalm 37:4-5 says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Nothing is too difficult for, or impossible with, the Lord; He’s the great God. He said in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” His greatness is beyond description. His power is limitless. Trust Him, and trust His ability. He can do for you in a second, what naturally should have taken you ten years to achieve. Within the last part of this year, you can receive anything that you desire of Him. Jesus said in John 16:24, “…ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”
He wants your joy to be full; therefore, keep your faith active; ask and receive. Stand firm; stay strong. Believe and keep affirming the Word even in the face of staggering oppositions. Never give up, for faith always wins.
CONFESSION
I refuse to be under the pressure, for the Lord is my salvation, and upon Him, I’ve cast all my cares, living the transcendent life, and enjoying peace with prosperity. My path is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. The Lord my God is my sufficiency, my refuge, my glory and my strength; He’s my all. Hallelujah!

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

NO LACK OR WANT.

NO LACK OR WANT.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Paul understood the message of the new creation; notice that he didn’t say, “My God shall supply all our need….” He knew that the new creation isn’t in lack or want; the new creation doesn’t need to be “supplied”; he’s the supplier! Romans 8:17 says we’re heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Paul, with this understanding, said to the spiritually immature, “But my God shall supply all your need….”
When you’ve come of age, you’ll realize that in Christ, we don’t have any unmet needs. Matthew 6:33 says, “…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” When you seek the Kingdom of God first, every good thing you could ever wish for would be added to your life, without you having to ask. You won’t need to try to be happy, fulfilled or triumphant in life; you won’t need to pursue the things that the Gentiles seek: fame, money, recognition, acceptance, etc.; they shall be added unto you.
This doesn’t mean that after you’ve first sought and got the Kingdom of God, then you can go and seek other things; no. Seek the Kingdom, and you’ll get the rest of them combined. You may say, “Yeah, that’s why I’m seeking the Kingdom of God.” No, don’t seek anymore; you already found it, if you’re born again; you’re already in the Kingdom, and the Kingdom is in you (Luke 17:21). To have the Kingdom is to have all things. Glory to God!
Don’t look at what you may consider a need; look at what He’s lavishly made available to you in Christ. You were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ; that means you’ve been brought into oneness, partnership or family-union with Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:9). If this is true (and it is true), what in the world could you ever be in need of? Affirm God’s Word in your life; He has said all things are yours; declare the same, because truly, there’s nothing you require that hasn’t been provided in Christ. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I testify that all things are mine! I lack nothing, because the Lord is my sufficiency; He makes me lie down in green pasture; He leads me beside the still waters! His divine power has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. Glory to His Name forever!

Beware Of Evil Communication .

Beware Of Evil Communication .

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Phd
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners (1 Corinthians 15:33).
Through the Word of God we’re trained and cultured with good manners and godly behaviour, but some people can corrupt your good character through their unwholesome and perverse communication. Evil communication corrupts good manners. Any communication that negates, rejects or challenges the authority of God’s Word is an evil communication. Therefore, beware of such.
The Bible says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20). Psalm 1:1 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” The wrong company can influence you to do the wrong things.
For instance, the Bible says, “Show respect to the aged; honour the presence of an elder…” (Leviticus 19:32 MSG). Ephesians 6:2 says, “Honour your father and mother.” Imagine that you have a friend who says you don’t have to do it. That’ll be an ungodly counsel. The Word says, “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). But your friend says, “Must you pray all the time?” The Word tells you to not neglect church meetings, but your friend says otherwise. Don’t follow his ungodly counsel, but do the Word always.
In 1 Corinthians 5:11 GNB, the Bible says, “…you should not associate with a person who calls himself a believer but is immoral or greedy or worships idols or is a slanderer or a drunkard or a thief. Don’t even sit down to eat with such a person.” It parallels the Spirit’s admonition in Philippians 3:2, to beware of dogs, evil workers, and manipulators. It’s a stern warning from the Lord. When you see an inscription on someone’s gate that reads, “Beware of dogs,” they’re warning you of the dogs inside; not the ones outside.
Also, when it says beware of “evil workers,” the Greek rendering actually means “mischief makers”; mischievous people. The Bible wouldn’t warn you of such people if they weren’t dangerous. Therefore, if someone, whom you may even respect, tells you something you know isn’t consistent with the Word, you shouldn’t accept it. Be guided by the Word in all you do, and your life will glorify God.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I walk in the prearranged paths which you made ready for me before the foundations of the world. I’m guided by your Spirit to walk in wisdom and understanding, filled with the thoughts of righteousness. I’m guided and regulated by the Word, today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PUT THE WORD IN YOU.

PUT THE WORD IN YOU.
BY PASTOR CHRIS PHD
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
Jesus is the revelation of God’s Word and the character of His thoughts, opinions, imaginations and entire being. He was the Word of God in flesh and a master of words. The Bible tells us how the temple guards who were sent to arrest Him, stopped to listen to Him, and upon hearing His words, went back without arresting Him.
When the chief priests and Pharisees asked why they returned without Him, the officers replied, “...No man ever spoke like this Man!” (John 7:46 NKJV). His words brought healing to the sick, restored sight to the blind, unstopped deaf ears, gave the lame new legs to walk, and raised the dead. His words were different. The Bible says He cast out demons with His words (Matthew 8:16). He ruled and reigned with words. He showed us the power of words; their value and how to use them.
Don’t just talk; speak the Word. Build yourself. Develop your spirit and distinguish yourself. Make your words different and become an excellent person. This won’t happen, however, until you feed your spirit with the right information—God’s Word. The Bible says, “…for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things” (Matthew 12:34-35).
God gives us His Word so we can receive it, meditate on it, and let it become a part of us. Jesus said, “...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Remember, food becomes a part of your body when you eat. In the same way, if you’d meditate on God’s Word, you’ll produce God’s words. If you don’t have it in you, it can’t come out of you.
Put the Word in you. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).
CONFESSION
The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, and as I speak it forth, I establish the goodness of God in my world, effecting positive changes, and charting my course in glory. Blessed be God!

BE RULED BY THE WORD.

BE RULED BY THE WORD.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live (Romans 8:13).
As a child of God, you’re an ambassador of Christ. That’s how He sees you. You’re His representative. That’s why it’s important that your behaviour conforms to the Word. Be ruled by the Word. Don’t live according to your flesh. Don’t be controlled by your emotions. Give no place to carnality in your life. Be spiritually minded. Spend time on the Word and yield yourself to the Holy Spirit to work through you.
Remember, He sees your heart; if you’re hungry for Him; if you’re zealous and passionate for Him and the spread of the Gospel, He’ll see to it that you’re a success in life. So, you’ve got to align yourself with His thoughts. Let nothing stop you from living a life that’s pleasing to the Lord. Let your life be to the praise and glory of the One who called you.
Walk in the Spirit; the Bible says, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16). Walking in the Spirit is walking in the Word; living according to God’s Word. As long as you can have bitterness in your heart, you’re not walking in the Spirit; as long as you’re still involved in some worldly, carnal machinations, you’re not walking in the Spirit.
Refuse to be body-ruled. Live beyond the senses, for Christianity is life in the spirit. Don’t live in accordance to how you feel; live in accordance to the Word. You’re not of this world; you’re born of the Word. Jesus said, “I’m from above,” and so are you; you’re from above. Therefore, “set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:2). Don’t think, talk, or act like the world. Let the Word of God dominate your thinking and control your life.
CONFESSION
I’m born of the Spirit, and I’m fully yielded to His leading, guidance and control; I don’t fulfil the desires of the flesh. I’m fulfilling God’s perfect will, and living out my destiny in Him. I yield my spirit to Him only, to be instructed and guided in wisdom to please the Lord in all things. Amen.
Further Study:
Galatians 5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Romans 8:6-9 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
