ENDLESS PROSPERITY.
Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel...And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead (1 Chronicles 29:26, 28).
There’re people who, at a certain time, were doing very well in life; everything looked okay with them. But somewhere along the line, they lost everything they had acquired, not because somebody stole from them, but what they possessed suddenly became too small; the society grew bigger than them. Suddenly, the money they had, which used to be substantial, became paltry. Their vehicles became too old, and outdated. Their lives took a downward slide; everything simply changed.
What could have happened? They had thought their lives would be beautiful all the way, but no; things turned sour, and they couldn’t believe it. Some of them have come to even accept that life is that way; “it’s full of ups and downs,” they say. But they’re wrong! Jesus said, “...I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain...” (John 15:16). That means endless prosperity; your success shouldn’t be short-lived.
Think about David: the Bible says he died at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honour (1 Chronicles 29:28). It was the same thing with Abraham. There’re men and women described to us in the Bible who were rich, influential, powerful, successful, and served God in righteousness till their days were over; they had a great life all the way.
You can live in abundance every day. That’s God’s plan for you. Don’t live in the past; don’t be among those who’d say, “I used to be very rich, but things went bad.” Be at the cutting edge of everything! Be ahead of your generation, through adherence to spiritual principles revealed to us in God’s Word. And when you’re successful, you don’t have to be afraid about whether or not your success will last, because the Bible says, “...the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18). That’s endless prosperity. Let this be your consciousness and cogitation always.
CONFESSION
The Lord God is the source of my prosperity! I’m established in His righteousness, planted in the house of the Lord; therefore, I flourish like the palm tree, with grace and glory! I bring forth fruit in season, and out of season, because I’m like a tree planted by the waters, ever in blossom. Glory to God!
