RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 25TH FEBRUARY.r

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 25TH FEBRUARY.
STRENGTHENED WITH GOD'S MIGHT.
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness (Colossians 1:10-11).
In our theme scripture, we see another desire and will of God’s Spirit as He prays through the Apostle Paul for His saints. He wants us to be strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. What does this mean?
The word “might” is the Greek “dunamis”; it means miracle-working ability; the ability to make supernatural things happen. It refers to an ability to do the impossible; a supernatural ability. This is the power that God wants you to operate in, and with; it’s His will for you. You can change anything. You can fix anything, because of His power working in you. This “might” with which you’re strengthened and energized for the supernatural and transcendent life isn’t according to man’s ability, but according to God’s own ability.
No wonder He says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God” (2 Corinthians 3:5). He’s your ability; He’s your strength! Therefore, no matter what happens, no matter what’s going on around you, you’re so strengthened of God, so invigorated with miracle-working ability that you’re not troubled; you’re unperturbed. Oh, what a glorious and triumphant life we have in Christ! It’s a life without impossibilities or limitations!
It makes no difference the troubles, storms or adversities that may come against you, you won’t fret or be anxious when you’re invigorated with miracle-working ability. You won’t be bothered about the devil or what he can do, because he’s not a factor. You’re relaxed and joyful always, irrespective and independent of circumstances. Halleluiah!
PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit that’s at work in me. I’m invigorated with miracle-working ability in my spirit, by the Holy Spirit who lives in me. I’m strengthened for greater works, and positioned for the supernatural life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 24TH FEBRUARY.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 24TH FEBRUARY.
FRUITFUL AND INCREASING IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).
God’s will is that you’re fruitful in every good work, and while at it, increasing in the knowledge of God. For some Christians, the more they make progress in their job, business, or career, the less time they devote to spiritual things. Their knowledge of God begins to wane, because they’re suddenly too busy to go to Church or study God’s Word. That should never be your story.
Our opening verse says, “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10). God wants you to be fruitful in your job, in your academics, and in every good work. Don’t be amongst those who only go to Church when they face challenges; then the moment they receive a miracle and things change, they forget the One who made it possible.
Your commitment to God, His Word, and the Church must be first, and absolute. The lesser is included in the greater; as you commit yourself to the Lord, and His Word, taking your Church attendance and other spiritual activities seriously, you’ll certainly be fruitful and productive in other areas of your life. 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
To prosper means to be fruitful and productive. Here, He deals with both your natural and spiritual wellbeing. As you prosper in your finances, in your health, in your relationships, family, etc., He also wants you to prosper in your knowledge of God. He wants your revelation of Him to keep increasing. That’s how His grace and peace are multiplied in your life: “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord” (2 Peter 1:2).
Keep increasing in the knowledge of God by meditating on the Word. The result is that you’ll be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, always in blossom, and prospering in everything you do (Psalm 1:3). What a life!
PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word is food to my spirit, and by it, I prosper in all things and at all times, bearing fruits unto righteousness. I’m like a tree planted by the rivers of water, always in blossom, and making progress with giant strides, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
FURTHER STUDY:
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Hebrews 13:20-21 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

CONFESSION FOR YOU

CONFESSION FOR YOU
Jesus is Lord over my life, academics, business, finances and family. I am what He says I am and I have what He says I have. I am a new creation, an overcomer, a bundle of success and a partaker of the divine nature, for God’s Word governs the circumstances of my life. Halleluiah!

AFFIRM YOUR VICTORY

AFFIRM YOUR VICTORY

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).

In spite of this beautiful reality from the Word that assures the Christian of a life of endless victories, some still have tales of anguish and defeat. “I thought everything would be alright now that I’m a Christian, instead, it’s as if all hell has broken loose against me. There’s trouble everywhere; what have I done wrong?” they lament.
It’s not so much what you’ve done wrong, as it is what you’re not doing right. More so, you have to realize that bad things do happen to good people. Meaning that if you don’t stand your ground in faith, life will whip you, even though you’re a believer. Part of what we learnt in our previous study is that believing is with the heart. However, believing the Word is not enough. This, for the most part, has been the missing link for Christians who find themselves buffeted by the crises of life.

The Word of God is real and true, but that doesn’t mean the experiences of your life will automatically line up with it. You’re the one to make them so. This is the fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). You’re the one to subdue the unpleasant circumstances around you, or the symptoms that attack you, and effect a change! The contrary circumstances will not change by themselves, just because you believe. So do what the Word says.
The second part of Romans 10:10 says, “…with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” That’s the key. For your situation to change or to maintain a life of continuous progress and triumph, it’s got to be by faith, and faith is calling real that which has already been consummated for you in Christ. Take a hold of God’s Word and affirm your victory in Christ Jesus!

Halleluiah!

An Indian man walks into the New York City bank and asks for the loan officer. He tells the Loan Officer that he was going to India for some business for 2 weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.
